TANKAR's Old Malibu Race Car.
Below is a photo of a 1974 Malibu 2 door that had a 350 stock small block before I got my hands on it. First I made sure that the suspension was up to snuff and then I mounted some big meats all around to improve the cornering and traction. I installed some air lift shocks on the rear suspension to look cool on the street and lower down for the strip. Under the hood I built up the top half of the motor by installing a Corvette cam, heavy duty timing chain and gear, porting the head and re-seating the valves, installed some roller rockers, and put on an Edelbrock Torquer intake, a huge Holley carb, a chrome plated Mallory distributor and coil, a chrome air cleaner, valve covers, and some equal length headers. I took it to the strip and it ran in the 14's with a stock bottom half motor and a really crappy differential and gear ratio. I ended up selling it before I blew all of my money on it.

Nowadays I've been busy helping my son-in-law with his 1993 Eagle Talon TSI performance mod project
by giving advice, hands on wrenching, and welding/fabricating.
